ACW Investment Review 2023
A sad day for Rubicon today as we learned that we would not be receiving ongoing funding from Arts Council Wales from next year.
40 Years in Adamsdown Primary School
This year we celebrate 40 years of Rubicon Dance leading weekly sessions at Adamsdown Primary School with the first sessions being set up in 1983.
Save Rubicon for the Future
Rubicon Dance has been at the forefront of Community Dance in Wales for the past 47 years. The legacy of people who have experienced dance in our building and beyond is immense and they thrive in a world that is very uncertain at times. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks a serious financial issue has been uncovered by the Board and a newly appointed Senior Leadership Team of Rubicon Dance. Our finances are in a difficult position, and we face an extremely tough few months.
Using Dance for Health: March 2022
Following a successful first course in July 2021 Coleg Sir Gâr, Rubicon Dance and Wales Wide Training Programme are running a second short course in Arts and Health Awareness which is online and free to those who are eligible for PLA funding (Personal Learning Account) through Welsh Assembly Government.
