Let's Dance with Rubicon Dance
Rubicon Dance is signed up to the "Let's Dance" UK wide campaign on Sunday 2 March
Rubicon Dance is signed up to the "Let's Dance" UK wide campaign on Sunday 2 March, an initiative spearheaded by Angela Rippon CBE. She has the support of Professor Chris Whitty, plus the World Health Organisation. Angela's aim is to highlight and advocate the health and medical benefits of dance to people like GP's, hospital staff and the general public.
In line with the themes of Let's Dance we are offering FREE one hour dance sessions for children and young people who currently attend sessions at Rubicon, older people, the ALUMNI of our Full time/BTEC course and inclusive dance sessions for children and young people.
We will also be showing some short films which demonstrates our work in hospitals, with Stroke survivors, with older adults and young dancers. We would love to see you to join a dance session or simply to be in our building on Sunday March 2nd to celebrate dance- tea and coffee will be available!
If you would like to join in with a session then please email info@rubicondance.co.uk or call Rubicon on 02920 491477.
The sessions on Sunday March 2nd will be FREE to attend but as Rubicon Dance is a registered charity donations are most welcome and will be put towards building improvements at our centre in Adamsdown.
