We would like to say a big thank you to Bryn Deri Primary School, Radyr, Cardiff for organising a fundraising event for Rubicon Dance at their school on July 11th. The children raised £161.00 for Rubicon!
We would like to say a big thank you to Bryn Deri Primary School, Radyr, Cardiff for organising a fundraising event for Rubicon Dance at their school on July 11th. The children raised £161.00 for Rubicon! The school choir, orchestra and dance group put on a concert with the support of their wonderful teachers and their brilliant Headteacher, Claire Davies.

As a registered charity we are really grateful to all the children and staff involved and as a thank you the school's dance group were offered a free dance workshop with Rubicon led by our Dance Leader, Sophie Batey.

It was our absolute pleasure to say a huge thank you to Rubicon by raising money by showing casing our dancers at Bryn Deri. It was a fabulous afternoon of music and dance and made me feel extremely proud to be involved as headteacher.

Rubicon has been instrumental in inspiring our young people to dance for nearly 50 years. Having taught in Cardiff for 36 years, Rubicon have always been by our side, providing dance workshops and performance opportunities for our children across the city. Rubicon have been at the grassroots and we have seen children not only enjoy dance but grow in confidence and even move on to careers in dance. Thank you to everyone at Rubicon! Rubicon have made dance accessible to all and let's hope this will continue for another 50 years! Why walk when you can dance?!
