We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Community Dance Assistant Facilitators to support the delivery of inclusive and engaging dance activities within community settings.

Rate: £15 per hour
Location: Community-based venues in South Wales (as required)
Contract: Freelance

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Community Dance Assistant Facilitators to support the delivery of inclusive and engaging dance activities within community settings. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging practitioners and individuals interested in developing their skills in community dance facilitation.

Working alongside experienced practitioners, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while helping to create welcoming, accessible, and positive experiences for participants of all ages and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

·        Assist with the setup and delivery of community dance workshops and activities.

·        Provide practical support and encouragement to participants during sessions.

·        Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

·        Support the documentation of sessions, including attendance records, photographs (where appropriate), and participant feedback.

·        Contribute to gathering and recording evaluation and feedback information.

·        Develop facilitation skills through mentoring, observation, and practical experience.

Skills and Experience

·        An interest in community dance, participation, and creative engagement.

·        Good organisational and communication skills.

·        A positive, reliable, and professional approach.

·        The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

·        A willingness to learn, reflect, and develop professionally.

·       Previous experience in dance, education, youth work, community arts, or facilitation is welcome.
